Want To See What A Heart Attack Looks Like…?

After a spate of recent posts concerning wonder foods and how they can prevent a heart attack – it’s time to have a look at the rather scary reason we carry an Aspirin in the first place.
Video of Heart Attack Due to Atherosclerosis at Nucleus Medical Art

This site is amazing – Nucleus Medical Art – apparently Doctors appreciate good images too! They make their money by providing Medical animations and illustrations – presumably for teaching purposes – kind of like Physician “show and tell.”

The thing is – the animations are stunning – if you can remember those movies where the astronaut is shrunk and injected into a human being and travels around the body getting attacked by white cells – well – it’s nothing like that! ;-)

The animations are colorful, dynamic and absolutely believable – well – one would hope so. The image we have on this page is a screenshot of a Heart Attack Due to Atherosclerosis – click on it to go to the site where you can watch the full 3 minute video.

It is fascinating if rather disturbing viewing. The site has a whole boatload of videos and images – enough to put a distressing image in your mind no matter what is wrong with your body - but if like me - you’re all about the heart - get yourself some insurance here. Enjoy!
